Sources And Uses of Credit Funds of Financial Institutions

 1. Financial Institutions include :   

                      the People's Bank of China, 
                      the Industrial and  Commercial Bank of China, 
                      the Agricultural Bank of China, 
                      Bank of China, 

                      China Construction Bank, 

                      the State Development Bank, 
                      the Export and Import Bank of China, 
                      the Agricultural Development Bank of China, 
                      Bank of  Communications,
                      CITIC Industrial Bank, 
                      Everbright Bank of China, 
                      Hua-Xia Bank, 
                      Guangdong Development Bank, 
                      Shenzhen Development Bank, 
                      China Merchants Bank, 
                      Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, 
                      Fujian Industrial Bank, 
                      China Minsheng Banking  Corporation, 
                      Yantai Savings Bank, 
                      Benbu  Housing and Savings Bank, 
                      City United  Commerial Banks, 
                      Urban Credit Housing and Cooperatives, 
                      Rural Credit Cooperatives, 
                      finance companies,  
                      trust and investment companies, 
                      leasing companies and Postal Savings Bureau.
 2. Effective 1997, the financial statistics has been collected and reported 
     according to the new monetary statistics indicators system. Classification 
     of statistics items has been detailed and misclassifications, errors and 
     omissions have been addressed. The revised financial statements more 
     comprehensively and accurately reflect the aggregate credit and financial 
     operations of banking institutions. As of 1997, the statistics may not be 
     fuuly consistent with the historical data.
 3. After 1998, such funds were excluded from the households savings deposits.
